FSSP Mexico – Worship during Times of Quarantine ~ April 30, 2020
This year of 2020 the closure of temples in many places around the world, because of the Covid-19 epidemic, has caused a huge injury to the faithful, because we have been deprived of the sacraments, especially the Holy Mass. This situation has forced us to look for alternatives to pray and prevent spiritual life from weakening. We know that such practices are not ideal, nor do they replace presence in the Temple, much less replace the sacraments, but man has enrolled in his natural law the duty to worship God. We had to go through this crisis at the same time as Easter, so the families of the Quasiparish of San Pedro in Chains in Guadalajara, Mexico, did not settle and used the limited resources at their fingertips, to give a special place to the days saints and take advantage to instill in children the importance of religiosity. In this little compilation of images we can see a little bit of what it was like to live Easter from home.
